Frequently Asked Questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?โ–ผ

No. All PDF processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib). Your files never leave your device and are not uploaded to any server. This makes it safe to process confidential documents, contracts, and other sensitive PDFs.

Is there a file size or page limit?โ–ผ

There is no hard limit, but very large PDFs (over 100MB) may cause the browser to slow down or run out of memory. For best performance, keep individual files under 50MB. If processing seems stuck, try closing other browser tabs to free up memory.

Can I rearrange the order of PDFs before merging?โ–ผ

Yes. After uploading multiple PDFs, you can drag and drop them to change their order, or use the Move Up/Move Down buttons. The merged output will follow the order shown in the file list. You can also remove individual files before merging.
